No volume on video or speaker phone

I have seen this problem all over the internet. No sound on videos and no one can hear you when you use speaker phone. I know it has to do with the noise cancelling mic. I have used the needle trick to clean out the top mic but that did not help.

Has anyone found the solution for this.
