Chosen Solution

You can't hurt it much more, unless you damage a connector or part with vigorous cleaning. (Nothing ventured-nothing gained). After reading about "water damage" or "liquid damage" on this site, purchasing the proper tools & some thermal paste, follow the teardown and clean both sides of the logic board... reassemble. It may work. If not you've had practice removing the logic board so you can install a replacement if you determine it cost effective.

Good Luck,

+ Click here and select the "logic board replacement" guide for instructions on it's removal. Click here for the iFixit generic liquid damage guide, for instructions on how to clean the board. As Machead3 mentioned do not forget to apply a very thin, even layer of thermal compound to the CPU & video chips prior to reassembly.
