when I speak on the phone I cant be heard

when i answer a call on my iPhone the caller cant hear me speak however when i use the speaker or hands free they can hear me

The iPhone is on 2.21 firmware I have replaced the headphone jack and the microphone

Any suggestions would be very helpful

It's possible. If there hasn't been any physical damage to the phone, then it might fix it.
