Replaced screen, new screen looks low quality

Received an ipod video 5th generation with a broken screen. I replaced the screen with a replacement from ifixit.com. The new screen looks poor in quality. It reminds me of a PC when reinstalling windows and you do not have your video drivers and the picture is grainy or low resolution. Is this ipod suppose to have a very clear screen? It just seems like its a low resolution screen or low pixel (if this makes any sense). Thanks

joshruppert, yes, the display is usually very crisp and clear. After all, it is for video's :-) The only thing I would recheck is the connection to the logic board. Make sure it is straight and all the way inserted. Also, make sure the clip is down to secure it. After that, try a restore on iTunes and see what you get. If nothing works, I'd contact the sales staff and see if you can exchange the display. Hope this works for you, good luck.

I will never know if the screen was defective. While opening the ipod I somehow managed to break the screen. lol... oh well, I guess its time to order another one.
