Battery Connector broken, must change logic board?

I repaired the LCD but while i was re-mounting the iPod i broke all the pints of battery connector (it worked pretty well for 1 hour) Any Help? what can i do? thanks guys. I want to repair this iPod because i'm sentimentally attached to it.

ruggeromariazanolini, that is a very common thing to happen. Anyhow, there are really only two things that you can do. One is, of course, to replace the logic board. Not a very expensive or difficult task. The other thing you can try, is to get a local shop to solder a new connector onto the board. It is surface mounted, so you will need to get someone with experience in doing that type of repair. The clip is available at places like this. Either one of those repairs will ensure that you get to keep your iPod functioning. Hope this helps, good luck.

Thanks mate. I understand, so you think is possible to change that connector(with the new one you've shown me) though the small pins are completely broken? i'm going to a tech expert right now, thanks 4 your timely response :)

ruggeromariazanolini, yes it is possible to get it fixed. Just remember that this is a surface soldered connector and requires special skills and tools. Good Luck and let us know.

HI the charging connector 3 path is damaged how to solve this someone recomended puting jumper but unable to find the right track
