What is the largest SSD I can upgrade a late 2008 MBA to? Can anyone recommend a brand?

Right now the maximum available is 240GB from OWC

..........but they are coming out with a 480GB version soon that may offer you the extra space.
I would recommend OWC because it is one of the most reliable sources that I use with good customer service and warranty coverage.
