fan cable, battry not detect, osx indicator stay at 0%, not charging,

what is that small cable next to right fan cable on the logic board? the fan power cable has four small cable. the cable i am asking has only 2 small cables.

i was cleaning my macbook pro's logic board from dust. i also put in a new and better thermal paste(arctic silver). during the process, i broke 1 of the leg of the cable next to the right fan(but not the fan power cable). i did broke the housing left arm. but the cable still seated right and secured. when i try to boot up my mac, it boot correctly but i just found out today that the battery wont charged. when i push the button on the battery it turn on about 4 dots(80%).

On the top right of the screen, if i click on the battery level it says 0% and stays on calculating charge time. i wonder is it because i broke the housing or what.

my question is it the source of the problem? thx

can i solve this problem by soldering the cable arm directly to the logic board? just the right side of the cable. the left side of the cable is fine.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

I believe it is the right thermal sensor. If you're capable of soldering it (soldering logic boards require special tools, skills & solder- generally not for DIYers), and can accomplish that without further damaging the board, it should work.
