Nintendo 3DS Top Screen Not Visualizing Correctly?

Recently my Nintendo 3DS (out of warranty btw) popped out of its hinge. Being handy with small electronics I decided to open up the 3DS with help via a YouTube video and was able to get the hinge back in its place. Unfortunately, when I powered up my 3DS, I noticed there were lines across my handheld, the images were not centered, images magnified and everything had a negative effect. What happened here?

If anyone can help with tips that I can do, please send them my way, calling or sending it in to Nintendo isn't an option right now. Thanks for reading.

The thin ribbon cable to your upper screen/LCD has been compromised. You need to replace the upper/top LCD. Click here, and select the Upper LCD Replacement guide to help you in this task.

"AB Cellars" was correct. I ended up replacing the LCD screen. A lot harder than an iPhone screen btw.
