Tiny spill of water and now "?" and "0" keys dont work

My wife spilled water on her macbook, we reacted very quickly and turned it over on a towel to keep any more moisture from settling in. It was not a lot of water but enough to get under the keys. After a day of drying out, we turned it on and everything works great except for 2 of the keys. The 0 key and the ? key dont work at all. I removed the keys and couldnt really see anything that would cause them not to work. They are not sticking and react normally when pressing on them. Is there a contact somewhere in them that needs to be cleaned or something that can be tested?

Thanks for your help!

I have had luck taking the laptop keyboard out ( the top case) and cleaning any keys that are not working with some WD-40 and then allowing it to dry. ( look at the wiki page for WD-40, it displaces water).

This is of course if you can't get it fixed using another method, someone else might have another solution.

I have also done this for the regular large silver and white desktop mac keyboards having sodas etc spilled on them.

Keyboard will smell like wd-40 for a few days or so.

If the keyboard can't be fixed using this method you might need a new keyboard.

Also i would be careful to visually inspect the internals to make sure no water or moisture etc made it's way into other parts of the laptop or any water still in the keyboard laying in wait to get further into the laptop.
