My mousepad and certain keys on keypad are not working...Need Help!

The mousepad does not track my finger movements correctly and certain keys on the keypad do not respond. When I connect an external mouse, the tracking is still not correct. Does this imply that the logic board is malfunctioning?

This is my daughter's computer and she has the computer in the bathroom when she showers to listen to itunes...could moisture have damaged the logic board?

Thank you.

Failure of the external mouse would indicate a logic board rather than a keyboard failure. Yes, this could be caused by water and most likely involves the keyboard also. Top case and logic board replacement = big bucks. I would sell it for parts and replace the machine. Use a plastic keyboard cover and a skin to prevent this in the future. http://www.decalgirl.com/skins/MacBook-S...
