THis phone operates very Hot

The Samsung SGH-A867 operates very hot.

I dont make long calls...

I thought it was the Battery which I replaced with a New one...but the problem still exist.

Is the anyway to rectify this problem?.

Can you describe the conditions under which it gets hot? Is it hot when just idling? Is it hot only under use? Many phones will heat up if you have a lot of sensors and/or apps running. For example my phone, a Samsung Infuse, gets extremely warm when I run Bluetooth, GPS and charge at the same time. If your phone is hot when it is just idling and your battery drains exceptionally fast, you may have a short somewhere in the phone. Give us some details on when it heats up and we'll try to help more.
