no network. inserting simcard=airplanemode faded blue

when inserting a simcard the airplanemode becomes faded blue and cant be activated, or deactivated. previous owner said it happened after a charging board replacement. replaced the charging board with another new one. same problem. which ic on the mainboard could be the culprit? anyone have expirience with this?

i have the same problem becasue i changed the usb board myself, now charging is working but there is no network connections, have you found some solution?

I realized that all of the USB board I bought even though they fit are incompatible and leads to this problem. I ended up soldering a new USB port to the original charging board. After that I got network again. On the board is a number. Maybe that a revision number. Try finding a board with that exact number. Maybe then it will work.

Options

There could be damage or dirt in the board connectors and ribbon connectors. Check them all under magnification if you can. It may help replacing the ribbons marked.
