Screen is left aligned after screen replacement

Replaced entire upper screen assembly. When it comes on, screen is left-aligned (see picture). I have reset NVRAM, manually switched among resolutions, and disconnected and reconnected the video board connector. No change.

Hi

When you say “left aligned” you mean that it’s displaying a full image just lower resolution shifted left?

Just to confirm that’s what your saying and that the display isnt missing anything out:-)

Well this is not good☹️😖☹️😖

Somehow the display got damaged. The display image is not shifted over, it’s right side is missing!

The dialog box is in the middle which is how we can tell it’s not a reduced screen size which gravitated to the left.

If you replaced the full assembled then this part was bad from the start. You should ask the seller to exchange it. If you opened up display assembly and replaced the LCD panel then the one of the panel cables to the T-CON got damaged.

Have to agree here. Either this assembly was damaged before it was installed, or it was damaged during the install. More than likely there’s a break in one of the cables going to that section of the display panel. :(

Thank-you both for the quick reply. Yes, it was fully assembled. Even so, I was extremely careful in handling it as it was my first of this model to do. I will contact the seller and ask for an exchange.
