I have tried everywhere to find this answer, and i hope you can help. This only refers to cosmetic damage, and i want to replace the top lid with the apple logo on it. Its very badly scratched and i have the part to replace it, but i need to know how? PLEASE help!

That should get you there, once you get to last step (38) you should just swap in the new cover and re-assemble.
