Need help with black screen

I just changed my rear camera in my iphone 4 when i went to turn it on the screen was black i could hear it start up but could not see anything on screen. what do i need to do to fix it? did i do something wrong when i reconnected the battery? please help thank you very much

You might want to go back in to the phone and make sure that all of the cables are connected correctly.
