Fujitsu Tablet PC power cord insert pin is loose,

I was told I need to change motherboard, cannot repair power intake pin. Can I just repair/ replace pin where power adapter is inserted or need new mother board. How much it will cost? PC works with charged battery, can not charge.

Also check to see if the tip of the charger is broken off.
