[SOLVED] Fail to power on with "ticks" sound

My MacBook Pro Santa Rosa (last generation before unibody) "ticks" when I try to power it on. It have been doing this from time to time but now it look permants. The ticks sound like sparks from the power unit next to the MagSafe connector. I have disasamble everything, but the power module is still out of reach. I hope it is something simple so I can solder a losy condensator back into working order with precision soldering.

Has anybody ever saw this kind of trouble and solved, it? Any tips?

EDIT: Fount it. One of the aluminium clamp holding the left side of the border had broken off and got stuck in the power unit, just under the speaker. It was shorting the power circuit. I removed it and it work again
