My mac mini won't start.
Mac mini does not run at all, no lights, fans, ect.
i think the problem could be the power adapter.

Use a multimeter to test the output of the power brick. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mac_Mini

Which model of Mac Mini are you having issues with?
The older ones have the larger power brick cable but the newer ones do not. I'd first try a different adapter, I've seen many many issues with the power cables on various Apple products.
