Still heating up and loud after I applied new Thermal Paste?

So, last week I posted that my macbook was being super loud and heating up a lot. A solution I was told to do was to apply new thermal paste. Well I did and the problem is still occurring, what should I do now?

Continuing our trouble shooting from last time, there are two other options I can think of. A thermal sensor somewhere is not working properly or you have some sort of software based issue. I'm not sure how to test thermal sensors, and without knowing your specific model, it will be impossible to tell you where they are. Try reading through this answer. It may contains some pertinent information. You should also let us know which model of MBP 13" you have so we can try to more accurately diagnose your issue :)

That link you sent me was hieroglyphics to me. Lol..

Actually I don't have a Macbook Pro just a regular Macbook, I didn't think it mattered, sorry. I have a A1278 Macbook. 13'' Aluminum Model. How would I know if its a sensor issue or a software issue?

Whoops. Sorry, I should've noticed the link to the guide you posted sorry. An easy way to check hardware vs software, would be to check logic board temp and compare to computer readings. So for example, the answer I gave one of the users referred to a widget called "iStat Pro". This can be found and downloaded here. Make sure your OS is compatible. Load that bad boy up, let your laptop get nice and cool (maybe let it rest over night?) and fire it up in the morning. If iStat Pro is indicating an obviously absurd/incorrect temperature, than the issue is likely a hardware problem. If it says all the temperatures are normal than it is likely a software issue.
