LCD connector issue and replacement

so my iphone backlights doesn't work very well and only flashes when i either lock/unlock it, i think it must be the problem of LCD connector.

is there any ways to buy the part and replace it?

please help, and thank you.

The connector on the LCD part is not replaceable without buying a new screen (which sounds like a more promising possibility).

If you want to replace the connector on the iPhone logic board, you'd need to find a replacement connector through an electronics catalog or something and have an extremely experienced solderer replace the connector for you. Even then, the chances are extremely slim.

It sounds to me like replacing the display is what might most likely solve your problem.

look into the price and wow i'd rather buy a new iphone then.

you don't have to buy here..or buy the whole front display. you only need the LCD!

Another thing to consider is the backlight for the 3gs is "powered" by a coil on the logicboard have a search for 'Part 6R8 Coil' for info
