The headphone jack isn't working properly

The headphone jack only allows the right earphone to work. I can jiggle the connector and it breaks up. How do I fix it? It doesn't matter if I change to different headphones... it still does the same thing.

Check to see if you have broken a tip off any of your headsets. It may be in the iPod and preventing full contact.

This means that the headphone jack is becoming faulty and needs to be replaced. Simply locate the size of your iPod video and replace the headphone jack/hold switch. Very easy to do.

What's the reason for the downvote? Sure, you should check the headphones out first. But this is a solid response.
