Fixing flimzy usb-c connector

After a few months one of my controllers can be charged only if I apply some force on the connector, so. it looks like it isn't well soldered to the pcb and I assumed that I can just take it apart and solder it, but i wasn't even able to take it apart. I've seen few videos that explain how to access the battery section but no details on how to open the bottom part of the controller, i.e. where USB-C connector is located. I tried to open the arc part of the controller with ifixit plastic tool, but noticed there are many sensors under it and decided don't do that since I could easily damage one of them. Has anyone succeeded in fixing the USB-C connector or at least access that area of the controller?
