iPhone 3G charging and synchronizing issues

i had a new iphone 3g when i plugged it in using a fake chinese wall charger the charger smokes while plugged in the wall and the iphone plugged in it.

so i got a new wall charger the original one, pluged it to the wall and the iphone to it and the iphone doesnt read or show it is charging and doesnt connect to the computer. i changed the battery and the dock connecter and nothing works. the charging fuse looks to be fine, but i didnt test it yet. what would be the issue? is it the fuse? what am i supposed to do ?

Replace the battery in it, your china charger could of ruined the battery

To deal with the sync issue, after the battery is swapped, you will need to hold down the power button and home button to reset the phone, if that does not work, restore it in DFU mode by holding power and reset, and let go of power and keep holding home w/ the sync cable in the iPod the whole time until it says there is a iPhone in recovery mode and restore
