iMessages can’t login

Used MBP 2018 before and used my iCloud account and iMessages. Bought MBP2020 and successfully logged in to iCloud but can’t login to iMessages. I enter my account logins and it keeps spinning constantly. Left it for a day and it was still spinning.

Used my other iCloud account and it logged in in few seconds.

I want to start using my other account but have 20.000 photos and it’s nightmare to move them all easily.

Doesn’t seem like Macbook problem, but rather iCloud issue. Tried contacting support but my country is unsupported.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Who are you connected to the internet? The connection may not be stable enough for the tickets to get across.

Very slow links and/or to many dropped packets can be your issue.

But why are you going this route? The better is to restart Migration Assistant with a connection between your two systems as explained here Move content to a new Mac

This approach side steps the tickets as your old systems get transferred with the user account data.

If you need the other account just make sure the user account name and folder is different. You may want to make a TimeMachine backup before you start.

The connection is stable. I have fiber optic internet. Since it can login to one account and not to other one that suggests something is up with my iCloud account most likely.
