My laptop won't turn on without being plugged in

I recently got this laptop, but I can't get to turn it on without the power chord being plugged in.

I've tried out several options, but nothing seems to work.

Here's the battery report from windows

Hi,

The battery report should contain info about the Design Capacity value (in mAH) and the Full Charge capacity value (in mAH).

You don't say what "several options" you've tried, but since there a no values for these parameters in the battery report, either the battery is faulty or perhaps there's a driver problem.

Go to Device Manager > Batteries > right click on Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery > uninstall and follow the prompts.

Restart the laptop and allow Windows to reinstall the driver. Allow the battery to charge for a while (does the laptop indicate that the battery is charging, you never said?) then create another battery report and check.

If still nothing is shown for these values, replace the battery and check.
