Not the correct model as it is not listed, its a 13-ap0599na

Ref removing display screen without damaging the screen so it can be put back in, this is required to change the Digi board or the WiFi Cable antenna cables. I have the fixit kit, but it did not seem to do anything to this display, The screen fits very tightly to the back panel, so was unable to get a leverage to move the screen and as this back panel was Gold in colour any scratches where viewable. Not a good repair situation.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Hi @pcpete

Looking at the parts list (see item #1on p.21) and also the display assembly removal procedure (see p.51) of the maintenance and service guide taken from this support webpage for the laptop, it seems as though the LCD panel is not considered a separately removable part and is part of a complete assembly including the antennas and the lid cover.

Perhaps that is why you're having trouble trying to remove it from the assembly.

My Reply. Sorry not true, as one can buy just the bare Screen from a number of suppliers, but only the whole from HP parts. Amazon and EBAY show companies that will supply screens, but what I require is how to get into the display, as I only want to change the WiFi cables. Every thing else is perfect.
