Why my headphones with microphone by cable dont work when plugged in?
So, i have headphones with microphone by cable that doesnt connect or recognize when i plug it in my lenovo laptop, i guess the input is broken.

Has the headset/microphone combo worked OK before in the laptop?
Have you checked the settings in Control panel > Sound > Playback & Recording?
Have you checked that the audio drivers are installed OK in Device manager > Sound, video and game controllers?
What have you checked?
