Why the reverse light work when apply the break?

When ever I apply the break the reverse light on the boot lid illuminates. How to resolve it?

Any rear end damage that may damage wiring? Any electrical mods done to rear end?

@askalbert_007 on here YOU are the professional. Remember that people come here looking for help and not being told to go seek out a professional. That defeats the purpose of what we are trying to do.

There are a lot of great people on here, that do not mind sharing their knowledge to help others out. There is a time to suggest professional help, but at least you can try and offer suggestions. Repair is War on Entropy!!!!

It sounds like somethingay have damaged the wiring, or perhaps some modifications were done incorrectly. You'll need to identify the wires to the reverse light and the brakes, and start tracing them from the rear to the front to see where the issue is. If they are being pinched by something conductive then when you hit the brakes the power is also sent to the reverse light. Though that one isn't likely as it would most likely also short out and blow a fuse...
