I have a broken note 10 plus with some files still there. Can I buy a new one and take the motherboard from my old one? Will it open up as the old one? The motherboard in the broken phone are intact.

As long as you buy the exact model then yes you can do that. To be honest, the cost of a secondhand phone it might be worth spending the extra and buying a new screen with frame unless you don't want the phone afterwards.
