My I phone3gs has white screen after taken it apart

hi there i took my i phone 3gs apart and i put everything back together and now my i phone 3gs wont work i have a white screen what could this be please help what could a buy to fix this now ?

I'd save my money and try the reset first. Hold home and power buttons for 10seconds, apple should appear, then release buttons and allow to reboot. Other things to consider is that your connection is loose, you have received or ordered the wrong part, the part is faulty. So a few things to do first before buying anything else. Let us know how you get on.

i have just done that held the home button and power button and nothing happened how would a know that the connection is loose how do a put this back together .... a got told that its the full compelte front unit a need please help ? all a did was took it apart because a wanted to change my back cover and now its gone totally white ?

I am having the same issue, I replaced the back housing, audiojack cable and the power dock and speakers... The phone makes the charging noise when I connect it to itunes or adapter.... but I cannot see the display... how can I solve this problem?

yes, i even did several other things suggested in other posts including, taking the battery out, restoring my phone, putting it in DFU mode and other suggestions... I dont understand why its like this... IS there another alternative other than replacing the entire front... Is there a chance it might be the motherboard? what exactly causes these problems?
