My camera is not working

I have had my HTC Droid Incredible for about a year and a half. I have had a few software issues before but they have all been resolved and I have never had any hardware problems. Today I went to use my camera and it wouldn't display what the camera was pointed at. All i get is a mix of pixilated colors that flash by. How can I fix this?
