Doing a display change, a quick quistion.

Hey guys,

So I am doing a screen repair and I wanted to no if when I get the LCD off do I need to get new tape for around the LCD? If I already have the screen off is it absolutely needed or is it more of a thing that if I have it put it on but if I don't have it then its fine.

Also does anybody have a preferred way to pry the display assembly from the mid frame?
