Cool down screen every 5 min after changing screen?

Replaced the Screen and LCD last night on my daughters 4th Gen I-pod touch, Now the "I-pod need to cool down" screen activates every 5 min or so, even after sitting all night. How do I trouble shoot this issue?

Hi Todd,

I had the same issue in my shop last night. I don't know exactly what all you did when doing the repair, but, check my findings here. May or may not apply to you, but worth a read over.

OK thanks for the info. I will take it back apart and check those Battery connections and see if I can see anything else. Let you know hwat I find.
