The charging / DC supply barrel within the speaker has broken rendering the speaker unusable.

I have dis-assembled the unit and the socket in question can be seen in yellow on the attached images.

Hi

The best thing you can do here is measure the height and width of the jack and type into eBay or Amazon (your measurements here) DC in Barrel Jack and find the closet one to what you have

This sort of job requires soldering so if your not comfortable with that sort of stuff you could take it to a local repair shop that does soldering and have them do it for you:-)

You could also replace the board in the pictures

Hopefully this helps

Any questions please ask

Thanks:-)

Got a quote online of £38, which is right at the top end of what I'm prepared to pay given that you can now pick the speaker up for £50-60.

Found the relevant barrel socket online for approx £7, but I don't have the requisite soldering skill. Soldering is on my list of skills to acquire.

The white connectors on the small board appear to be removable. However I've tried to pull them off with no success and I am reluctant to force them as they might be soldered. So that rules out replacing it in one piece.

Currently trying to find a local electronic repair shop on a few local groups, but they seem few and far between.

I had thought it would reveal as much in the post. Unfortunately not. (It's my first time on here) 😂

I'm in Manchester UK. .... Thank you.
