Any risks to using magnets to attach notes to MBA display?

The MacBook Air has internal magnets at the top of the screen to keep the lid closed. I've been magnetically attaching index cards / reminders to the display, but I'm worried about any long-term damage to the screen. No damage so far, I'm but wondering if there is any potential for harm. Thank you!

Magnets would of course mess up a CRT but I don't see a problem with a LED. I really don't like magnets around a hard drive of anything that writes data using magnetism such as a SSD. I think you're playing with fire here and it's just a matter of time before you start getting unexplained errors.
