replaced lcd, now iPhone won't charge or recognise itunes

Hi all,

I replaced my LCD. It went OK, the LCD and touchscreen work now. However, the phone won't charge if it is switched on. Also iTunes won't detect the phone when it is connected to my computer.

If I turn the power off, the phone charges fine. If it runs out of battery, the phone will charge to about 4%, then turn on and stop charging. I can power down and it will charge the rest of the way.

Anyone able to help?

Thank-you internet!

Hi,

When I did my first iphone 4 screen replacement I tore the usb dock cable very slightly when I peeled it off the adhesive at the bottom corner which resulted in similar symptoms, might be worth checking it for visible damage. I replaced it for about a fiver off ebay and it works perfectly now.

Good Luck!

Sean

1-you have to make sure that the slot of usb connection not damage, look it inside and see the pins ?

2- change the usb connector and use another one.

otherwise you have to send it back to service centre of apple .

Cheers,

Ramzi.
