Broiler doesn’t lite up
Lg gas range, LG 4513BD, 5 yrs old and the broiler has never worked. No heat!

Did you mean model LSG 4513BD?
If so here's the service manual that may help.
Don't know too much about gas ovens but perform the SVC test mode in Section 7-1 and check if relay RY12 operates. This relay appears to be associated with the broil function.
There's also the wiring diagram in the manual which may help if you need to check the broil function wiring circuit - see Section 6-1
