SMALL SATA to motherboard

Hi,

I bought the wrong caddy (optical bay). Is it possible to connect a small SATA to the motherboard of my mac. Here's a picture that explain everything:

I think the name of the connector is PATA to ZIF (x mm)...

Before you fry your logic board and spend a lot of money on fixes that may or may not work, just do the correct thing, return the bay you got and get the correct one. Here it is: [linked product missing or disabled: IF107-078]
