My shuffle keeps making the lock sound and won't let me change songs.

I just found my old Shuffle 4th Gen yesterday and charged it this morning. Earlier I took it off the charger and tried to use it. It works fine, except for the fact that it makes that sound all iPhones make when you lock it. I have to turn it off and back on to change the song, but as soon as I skip to the next song it locks again and won't let me change the song or the volume. I haven't been able to find anyone else with this issue despite 20 minutes of googling different keywords and phrases. Does anyone know what I'm talking about and have an answer or solution? I really want to be able to use this without having to turn it off every time I wanna change the song.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Hi

This is the first time I have seen an issue like this!

Have you tried plugging it into iTunes and restoring it

Doing this will reinstall the OS and will unfortunately remove your music until you put it back on

Hopefully this helps

Any questions please ask

Thanks:-)
