LCD Screen Digitizer Interchangable between GSM and CDMA

Can the LCD screen and digitizer assembly interchangable between the AT&T version and Verizon model (GSM and CDMA)?

No, and yes. The difference is the attached thin mounting bracket that goes around the screen. The only difference being the 10 small tabs for the screws are in different places. So when you buy a new screen you definitely want to specify GSM or CDMA with iPhone 4.

...or you could just detach the mounting bracket frame from the original lcd/digitizer assembly.

its not that hard. i had to do it because they sent me the wrong screen and i didnt realize it until it was too late into the procedure. I had to have my phone back so i switched the mounting brackets on my own and used superglue to attach it to the new screen. it worked fine.
