I ripped one of the two ribbon connectors on the display after accidentally opening a bit too fast. The display still works fine, although, it is completely unresponsive to touch. Would it be possible to repair or take somewhere to repair the cable? The cable is ripped directly in half, and I have the ripped off piece. I am praying there is an option out there without having to buy a whole new screen.

it would probably cost less to have the screen replaced than it would to have the flex cable repaired as there are numerous micro wires under the black coating on the flex. its a specialist repair and would take longer
