Why won't my xbox update, download or even sign into anything.

My Xbox wouldn't update anything. I did a master reset on it now it won't download my language, or sign into my Microsoft account. Any ideas?

Can the device connect to any wireless network, and does the issue continue to if the device is connected to Ethernet?
