Ylod fix doesn't work

I followed the yellow light of death repair and when I turn my system back on it still yellow lights. Can you over heat the CPU? I had it on high and heated for 25 seconds and I thought it was on low.

Also I got flux on the CPU once I already had arctic silver on I tryed to clean it off but I think I may have mixed it in would that affect it?

It is possible to damage ICs by overheating them, but it would have to get really hot. And yes flux on the cpu mixed with arctic silver will affect the heat transfer abilities. You need to do a thorough cleaning to make sure all the flux is off. You may try re-flowing again and reapplying thermal paste, but unfortunately it's hard to say whether or not that will help. Were you 100% sure that the mother board was on a stable flat surface when you reheated and that it wasnt disturbed while it was cooling?
