To replace the front bezel, must the entire screen be disassembled?

I have a MacBook Pro, 15 in, with the fatigue cracks. The screen works fine for now, but I want to fix it before something else happens. The instruction place the repair as very difficult, is it really going to be that hard? I've done a hard drive swap that was pretty easy. I'd like to keep the computer going for a while longer. It's just an internet device for my wife.

I believe THIS GUIDE is what you refer to. The HDD replacement gets you a bout 1/3 way thru what you need to do to replace the Bezel. I'd say that if you are capable of doing the HDD then you are capable of doing the bezel. It will only require that you read the guide carefully and follow each step, take your time especially with the reassembly - check/double-check all cable etc are seated before you move on. Nothing that you haven't done before :)
