Messed up removing flex cable

Block Image

I think I accidentally stripped off one of the metal connections when removing the flex cable on the logic board. Have I completely screwed this up?

Hi

Thankfully it hasn’t completely messed up the board because all but one of the pads looks ok

The other pin(highlighted in the photo) might have been ripped

The connector that has fallen off is for battery data, but in order to fix this you will need to solder it back on ,as for the pad we think is ripped :do you have the connector the fell off?

If so can you upload some photos of the side that faces the Board so we can see if the pad went with it

If you don’t have good microsoldering experience you might not want to attempt this repair and It would be better to have it taken to a professional as it may require replacing the pad that fell off and reattaching the connector so that it’s secure

Hopefully this helps

Any questions please ask

Thanks:-)
