Acer Nitro 5 AN515-43 booting problem.

Good day, please help me with my laptop, when I press power button the light indicator turns blue then turns off after few seconds, the screen doesnt show anything and the fans are not spinning and also the hdd, but the motherboard has power because when I put external keyboard in laptop, the keyboard lights up. But when I insert it to other usb port, it doesnt work, only the one usb port is working. Also I can charge the laptop but it just dont boot up and doesnt show anything. Please help me, thank you.

Disconnect the battery and see if it runs on just the charger. If that works the battery may need replacement.

@aactech Still it doesnt turn on, only the light indicator and after few seconds it turns off.

Options

Something may be shorting the motherboard or a setting in the BIOS may have become corrupted.

Try disconnecting, taking out the battery and discharging all power in system by holding down power button for 30 seconds.

Reset the CMOS by disconnecting the coin battery.

The round, coin sized, black covered object with 2 wires (black and red) running to motherboard connector to the right under the main battery. Video may help:

This will set all settings in the BIOS to factory defaults.

Also disconnect the hard drive and Wi-Fi in case one of these is causing the problem.

Have you tried connecting to an external monitor or TV to see if any video appears?

@aactech I have not tried it yet since I dont have connector that I can use to connect it to external monitor, I will get back here as soon as I can test it.

@aactech By using the super macro feature of my mobile phone's camera, I found something like spilled liquid in the motherboard, I also found it present in between the pins of some chips in motherboard, could this be the culprit? I dont know why it is there, can I fix my mobo if I clean it? Do you have any suggestions regarding what to use in cleaning?
