iMac upgrade (kill two birds...)

I'm considering the iMac Intel 21.5" EMC 3069 (Mid 2017, 4K Display) Memory Maxxer RAM Upgrade Kit and the iMac iMac Intel 21.5" (Late 2012-2019) SSD Upgrade Kit since both require removal of the screen and its hard to know what is slowing down the IMac (RAM vs hard drive).

Several items are reductant between the kit and bundle. Is there a more economical way to buy what I need and not buy anything twice?

Hi

Unfortunately I don’t think there is a way to not including the tools that you can do however I have a solution!

First contact iFixit support as they are magicians (really I mean it!)and they might be able to sort something out for you and get what you want:-)

The second solution involves buying the ram or the ssd from somewhere else so that you aren’t charged X2 for the tools

I would definitely see iFixit support first though

Here’s their Email:support@ifixit.com

Hopefully this helps

Any questions please ask

Thanks:-)
