Way to fix clicking sounds?

I bought my headphones less than a year ago, and have been having this issue persistently for a few months. When moving, be it walking, biking, in a bus, I can hear clicking sounds in my right ear. It's obviously a hardware issue, as it happens even when not listening to music and with the headphones turned off. Is this something easily fixable with just removing or tightening whatever is causing these clicking sounds, or is this something that warrants me going to the shop where I bought them to get it checked out? I have 2 years of warranty but I would love if I could fix this myself.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Hi Milo,

Sadly after doing some research it seems that many users of these headphones have this problem. One solution you might try before warranty is if you connect your headphones to a computer you can update the firmware on your headphones.

Sony has a very nice guide on how to apply the newest firmware to the headphones through their connect app here.

Sony Firmware update for Headphones.
