Hi,

Please verify the model number of the phone (usually found on the bottom of the base station or under the battery in the phone)?

The Uniden D1760-2 DECT 6.0 that you selected as the device doesn't have a personal ringtone assignment feature.

DECT 6.0 is just the communication standard used by some cordless phones (Digitally Enhanced Cordless Telephone ver. 6.0) and they are not all the same with regard to what features they provide. DECT signifies how they work between the phone and its base station

Hi helenrothe0

Unfortunately, your model doesn't have this feature either.

All you can do is to alter the ringtone for the handset, not for any individual contact in the phonebook.

To select the desired ringtone press the Menu/Select key then scroll through the menu items using the Up/Down arrow keys and press Menu/Select when Ringer tones is shown in the list.

Here's the user manual that may help.

The only thing that may identify the caller is the CID (caller ID) information displayed on the screen when a call comes in, but this would require the caller to have CID activated for their number to be sent forward.
