Short-circuited MacBook? - Can we fix it?

Hello all. Initially there was some issue and the display wouldn't bright-up fully. It was very dim. So I opened the Mac and accidentally touched the board with a screwdriver. This must have cause the full black-screen on start-up.

So, now it powers-up but with a black-screen. I have attached an image to check out if it has been short-circuited. And please let me know if there is a possibility to fix it.

You definitely have the potential to be trained to become board level repair technician, it’s detective work rather than rocket science and everybody started small.

But do not expect to be able to fix complex things like a laptop right away, you may need several laptop’s investment in tools and training to be proficient.

You can certainly train yourself to do repairs as a professional or as a hobby, but it usually doesn’t work if you are looking to just cheap out on a repair.

I am looking to send the laptop to a technician not repair it myself. So the question here is -- if based on the information that I shared -- is fixable.

@kalabalo Not enough information, needs board level troubleshooting, but should be possible.
